I will be posting links in this section of the crafts I like. I will also be putting step by step instructions on crafts I did myself! Be on the look out!

Kids and Chores
Want your kids to help out with chores!? Make it a game. Take a mason jar and for each chore they do, stick in a quarter, or a folded piece of paper with a prize on it. At the end of the week, they get the money or to draw from the prize list. Read off the prize list so they know what they can get.
Also, chemicals are harsh, dawn dish soap and water does the same thing and sometimes better. So if its getting a spot off the wall, or wiping down the counters or table give them a damp rag with dawn soap and water.
For the windows, use this recipe 1/4 cup rubbing alcohol, 1/4 cup white vinegar, 1 TBSP cornstarch, 2 cups warm water. Combine everything in a clean spray bottle and shake well. This recipe is the best window cleaner and its safe for kids!! Have fun! Make up some games while cleaning, play music. Have fun with it! I also like to skate in the house. Who doesnt? So I have my kids put on a damp rag on each foot. My kids love getting wet. And we skate through the house mopping the floor. Its a lot of fun. Be careful sometimes we stick and fall and run into each other lol. But the kids loved it. I also, like to play READY SET GO. First one done gets a goodie treat. So I will spray down my windows, walls, whatever needs to be wiped down, and I will have each kid on a different window(same size) and wipe them down the best way. All the liquid has to be gone from it. And I give them 5 minutes to do it. I give them a piece of candy or something. They love it. Not all the time do I reward my kids. They have their own chores they must complete. I give them 30  minutes to clean their room. If they do not do it, whatever is left on the floor, I have them bag it up and it goes in our hall closet. And they do not get it back until they are able to keep their room clean for a week. It works out great!

My usefulness with goodwill
I love goodwill. Its my store! I came across a good deal, 2 shelves for $10 each! Nice deal huh? We have a lot of books, So I thought why not make it a kid corner type thing. So I taped colored paper on the side(dont laugh it added color lol) and I made a checklist. If any book leaves the kitchen it must be checked out. The other shelf I am using for color books and crayons and markers. And in the center is an art desk. So they can sit and color or read. So, if you come across anything you like, it can be reused into something useful :)

KIDDOS
Want some fun with your kids? Like watch a movie? How many remember the drive in movie theaters? Awesome right? Well make one! Take cardboard boxes, paint, tape, and paper plates. Make a car. Wheels, steering wheel, decorate all that. Take some paper and twist it around to make it look like a cable. Take some more paper or carboard and make it to a microphone shape. Put those 2 together and have it hanging on the side of the car. Like the speaker. If you have a spare changing station(not using) turn into the snack shack. Decorate it and place your snacks on there and have them "order". Make fake tickets, make fake money. Whatever. Make it fun and make it yours! My daughter loves money and making things so we made the fake money lol. Have a lot of fun. Pick a movie turn off the lights and enjoy!!
Camping! Who loves camping? But who can't really get out? Well construction paper and some glue make an excellent fire! (fake of course) make a tent from chairs and blankets. Make some stars and planets, and have a flashlight and there you go! Have camping snacks and enjoy! Tell stories! Let the kids camp out on the floor! Now to make this comfortable this is where the next item comes in handy. Take 5 pillows and 5 pillow cases. Put the pillows in the cases and sew them all up. There you go. Its a nap mat that can be used for camping, naps, to relax whatever! There you go! Have fun!
